                                                                                                                                  2010 Butler Bull Dogs - Division 1 NCAA Runner Up Team

            

The Butler Bull Dogs impressed me from the very beginning of the tournament. As the tourney progressed this group of young men took on the David & Goliath odds and matched up well against the best of the best.The country tagged along as the team gave hope to all of the smaller teams vying for a shot at the National Title. 

 

It was one of the best final games in the history of the tournament and even though they came up one bounce short. All who play the game will remember Butler for many years to come. This is the first time I have given out this award so early in the year, but it deservingly is going to a talented group on and off the court. Congratulations to each member of the team and the terrific coaches on staff. Will be making a trip to Indiana!
