who wants a competitive environment to show off their skills.

The teams are equally dividied based on talent and then the season begins.
This season should be exciting for all as the kids have the basic fundamentals and it is a great outing
for the family on Game Day! (Games are on Thursdays or Sundays)

Mirco Strikers Spring 2007 Soccer Season

Jason & Jack Cobra Team Wins 5-0. (Record 6-0)
Jason scored a goal from 40 feet away that swerved and the goalie missed it. It was a great kick,
he had a field day kicking the ball today. Jack played good defense. The ball in the first half did
not get close to the goal.

Julia's Swan Team wins 4-1. (Record 4-2)
Julia's team has played with four all season and still dominated the other teams. She scored two
goals and and played really well. Hit both goal posts numerous times, was alittle off her game.

Jake's Cougar Team loses close match-up 10-5. (Record 4-2)
Jake's team played well and they scored numerous goals, one player scored six goals. Every
where he kicked it from, it went in. Next week of spring soccer.

Missoula Micro Strikers Association (MSSA)
Serving our youth Missoula Soccer community since 1981

We are a non-profit group serving the Missoula youth soccer community. Our goals are to teach,
develop, and promote the game of soccer. The primary objective of the club is to develop soccer
players in a constructive environment conducive to the player's positive mental and physical health.

Age appropriate soccer training combined with quality coaching is the foundation of the Striker
player development approach.

Since our founding in 1981 the club has fostered numerous state championship teams and each
year since 1983 we have qualified one or more teams for the USYSA Region IV tournament. This
success has been the result of seeking out and supporting the best coaching available in the
community and the dedication and commitment of players and parents to the hard work and
sacrifice required to play successful competitive soccer.

We sponsor two programs:

Micro Strikers - a developmental program for boys and girls U5-U11 emphasizing fun and skills
development in small-sided games. Check out the MicroStrikers page for more information.

Strikers - a competitive, traveling program for players U11 and older. Competitive teams play their
regular season from April through June. Tryouts are held each Fall to select teams for the following
Spring. Practices for the Spring season begin the first week of January with teams practicing at least
one night per week indoors. Typically three practices a week are held from mid-March until the end
of the season.

Two games are played most Saturdays, with most requiring out-of-town travel. Three weekend
tournaments are typically scheduled during the season. Summer and Fall tournaments are at the
discretion of the coach and team. For the upcoming season , girls and boys teams are planned for
U11 through U18. Strikers will create as many teams as possible to accommodate as many players
as possible.
