Life on the Home Front

 

In the Bitterroot Valley, winter has finally set in and snow is piled a couple feet high. The kids have been sledding and snow boarding and having a ton of fun in the snow depsite the zero below temperatures. 

 

This year, hunting season started with a bang. The kids were off on the very day of hunting and the trekking up and down the mountains began with no snow on the ground. With hope of Boone & Crockett calling, many hunters ventured the high mountains and the weather this year.                                

 

HUNTING UPDATE:  JASON, JACK & JAKE

 

The kids were avvid hunters this year looking for the Boone & Crockett Elk in the mountains which is always the goal. This year they saw several but were always too far away for a shot. This is what keeps hunters of all ages hunting year after year. Jake shot his first deer this year with rifle from Grandpa Henry. Another hunting season and memories in the books!

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. 

 

 

HAPPINESS IS.......
It has been said that the key to success and happiness is wanting what you already have. That makes perfect sense. If you want what you already have, there is no stress because you have already reached your goal. It is yours and offers you more joy and tranquility than you can imagine. The key to bliss in your life is right in your pocket.
 
All you have to do is put that key in the lock and open up the door.

Julia was named MVP of the Stockman's football team voted on by the players and coaches. She received an autographed coaches  football and certificate. This is the same team that John Elway played on 30+ years ago. Congratulations! (PS. Julia likes Oregon)
