Wildfire Costs
A FEMA spokesman says the federal government has approved a
request from the state that will cover up to 75% of costs to fight wildfires.
Governor Schweitzer called for Special Legislative Session for Sept. 5th to get
additional emergency funds in the amount of $60 million from the general fund
to continue efforts in fighting wildfires thru the end of the year.
