My Great Great Aunt Frances Thomas Born Elgin, Oklahoma July 16,1908 Frances Thomas is my oldest living relative and one that I absolutely adore. One of the key reasons, she has lived to be 99 is she has good genes, following in the foot steps of her dad who lived to be 98. She is still smiling after all these years, not married by choice, has no kids, but plenty ready to claim her money when she passes on. She still drinks Old Crow which may be good for an OLD CROW. I tried Old Crow a couple of times, still prefer Jim, Jack or R&R myself. We are all blessed to have had her around for so many years to think that I may have inherited her since of style for jewelry and most of her jewelry and the boldness to wear colors such as RED and polka dots is GRAND. I purchased two trunks of hats, gloves and jewelry from her estate, the only niece to purchase one of her famous necklaces which was purchased in Chicago, Illinois during the 1950s. It is a stunning and I have wore a few times on special outings over the last five years. She will make it to be 100 and the first in four generations living. Next year, I am hoping Governor Brad Henry will send her a birthday card & AT&T will recognize her 100th. Love & Prayers, here's to making it to 100! Your Great Great Niece JR On France's 98th birthday, I contacted Laura Bush and told them of my Aunt's pioneer efforts in telecom. Told her when George talks, she actually listens. They sent her several items one being a Lifetime Achievement letter recognizing her efforts in early the telephone days.
