John Custer's Antique Show
Spokane, AMERICA

One weekend recently, I attended John Custer's Antique Show in Spokane America. This was the first antique show I attended since my mother passed
as we always attended these together. Our favorite was Atlantique City held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. At this particular event, I recognized several
dealers from previous shows attended at Tacoma, Baltimore and Roundtop in Texas. I was quick to spot my favorite items (eagles, stars, hats & silver)
and old habits are hard to break. The first booth I stepped into, I saw two flamingos which has significant meaning to my family. I found a couple of items
and did purchase a Southern hat from Finders Keepers with roses and decided to wear it. I love hats and have an extensive hat collection (from Aunt Rose,
Aunt Katherine and Aunt Frances Thomas who will turn 100 on July 16th). I am hoping Gov. Brad Henry (Oklahoma) sends her a birthday card this year.
I plan on attending the fall antique show in Spokane, Washinton.
