USMC Birthday Ball
The USMC will celebrate 232 years on November 10, 2007
This year, I received a special invitation to attend the USMC Ball in Quantico, VA.
I declined due to family commitments. However, due to my involvement and
commitment to those serving in Corps. I will attend a special USMC Ball.
At every USMC Ball, there is a table set up for the POW-MIA (Prisoner of War
and Missing in Action). This year after festivities, I noticed the rose in the vase
on the table was not real. I placed my real rose in the vase to signify the
importance that
these Marines are special in our hearts.
